Asterozoa (n) - marine animals of which characteristics include a star-shaped body and radially divergent axes of symmetry.

This print takes inspiration from antiquarian coral and shell collections, now on display in museums, that included everything from giant basket stars to crown of thorns starfish. Each starfish has been hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto 150gsm recycled paper using eco-friendly inks.

For a vintage book plate feel, the species of each starfish has been noted underneath in calligraphy. The perfect addition to an art collection or gallery wall, or great for adding a striking focus to a room on its own. This art print is packaged with a thick cardboard backing board hand-stamped with the Also the Bison logo in a clear compostable plastic pocket.
