Aves(n) - warm-blooded, egg laying vertebrates distinguished by their feathers and typically able to fly. 

The next in my British Animals series - Aves is my long-awaited garden bird design. Featuring all the birds common to our gardens, from tits to finches, wood-peckers to the common pigeon. Each bird is hand-painted in watercolour before being digitally printed onto pure white 150gsm recycled card using eco-friendly inks.

For a vintage book plate feel, the species of each bird has been noted underneath in calligraphy. The perfect addition to an art collection or gallery wall, or great for adding a pop of colour to a room on its own.

This art print is packaged with a thick cardboard backing board hand-stamped with the Also the Bison logo and is wrapped in a clear, compostable protective plastic film.
