Candle (n) - the collective noun for a group of Tapirs

The Candle of Tapirs print features all four living species of tapirs, and their babies. Young tapirs are covered in a spotted and striped pattern in order to camouflage them from predators, which they lose as they grow older. Sadly all four species are considered endangered or vulnerable, so it is more important than ever to raise awareness about these animals! Each tapir is hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto 150gsm recycled paper using eco-friendly inks.

For a vintage book plate feel, the species of each chameleon has been noted underneath in calligraphy. The perfect addition to an art collection or gallery wall, or great for adding a striking focus to a room on its own. This art print is packaged with a thick cardboard backing board hand-stamped with the Also the Bison logo in a clear compostable plastic pocket.
