Colony (n) - the collective noun for a group of Anteaters
This print features all four species of anteater: the giant anteater, silky anteater and both species of tamandua. They are all native to southern and central america, and like the name suggests subsist on a diet of ants and termites, which means they have adapted to have very long tongues and no teeth! Each anteater is hand painted in watercolour before being digitally printed in the UK onto 150gsm recycled paper using eco-friendly inks.
For a vintage book plate feel, the species of each anteater has been noted underneath in calligraphy. The perfect addition to an art collection or gallery wall, or great for adding a striking focus to a room on its own. This art print is packaged with a thick cardboard backing board hand-stamped with the Also the Bison logo in a clear compostable plastic pocket.
Dimensions: A4 - 210 × 297 mm
